Description
The formation and evolution of super-massive black holes (SMBHs) in galactic nuclei are important ingredients for our understanding of galaxy formation and evolution. In this talk I present recent results of direct N-body simulations of supermassive black hole binaries in dense stellar systems. Implications of our results for the data analysis of LISA data, a planned gravitational wave detector, are discussed.
