Superfluid heat conduction

Collective modes of the neutron superfluid carry heat. I will describe the calculation of the superfluid phonons using a low energy effective theory. The main mode of dissipation is due to electron scattering. Simple estimates indicate that this mode of heat transport can be important in Magnetars.
