An introduction is given to limit-setting on extra dimension models from experimental data. This is a fundamental question in physics with a strong history. Physicists like Henry Cavendish and Oscar Klein made groundbreaking contributions to the field and their work still influences current research. This lecture covers an introduction to experimental approaches, ranging from tabletop to intergalactic scales.
