The paper highlights the features of numerical simulations of complex gasdynamical problems including combustion, multiphase flows and turbulence. The problems of resolution testing, validation and verification is disclosed on the examples of transient combustion and multiphase flows. The problem setup is elaborated for numerical analysis of the tangling clustering instability in the fully developed turbulent flow.
