Description
D-wave superconductors can be described via AdS/CFT correspondence by the model, which involves charged massive spin 2 field propagating in the curved background. At certain temperature this field develops a finite expectation value, which is related to the d-wave condensate. In the talk the observation of the spatially modulated static mode in the spectrum of fluctuations around the condensed phase of the holographic d-wave superconductor is reported. This mode involves the time component of the holographic gauge field that is related to the charge density wave. We speculate on the relevance of the observed mode to the formation of the pseudogap state and the emergence of the superconducting dome in the holographic model. Based on arXiv: 1312.1588
