Description
First I sketch how "asymptotically anti-de Sitter" fits into the grand
scheme of things.
Then I describe black hole spacetimes of constant curvature. Holst and Peldan classified these, but their result was disputed recently. I resolve this, but is then left with a counterexample to the chronology protection conjecture on my hands.
Finally I will try to argue myself out of this by adding some non-constant curvature.
