I will review how integrability techniques can be used to study both sides of the AdS3/CFT2 correspondence. In particular, I will discuss the off-shell symmetry algebra and the full world-sheet S matrix of string theory in AdS_3 x S^3 x T^4, and present some preliminary results regarding integrable spin-chains in the dual CFT2.
