Description
Oxides with perovskite-based structures have been known as essential materials for fascinating phenomena such as high-temperature and unconventional Superconductivity. The base of these materials, the cubic perovskite oxides, ABO3, also exhibit superconductivity as in SrTiO3-x and Ba0.6K0.4BiO3. Perovskite oxides have their counterparts, antiperovskite oxides A3BO (orBOA3), in which the position of metal and oxygen ions are reversed and therefore metallic B ions take unusual negative valence states. In this talk we will discuss attractive physical properties of some antiperovskite oxides, including their electronic states with 3D Dirac points as well as the prospects of topological superconductivity [1].
