D-brane Instantons and Chirality in the Large Volume Scenario

Description
After reviewing recent results on the D-brane instanton calculus, we apply it to the issue of moduli stabilisation via instanton effects. We show that there arise extra constraints when combining closed string moduli stabilisation with a chiral matter sector localised on intersecting D-branes. In particular, the large volume scenario is considered as an example.
