Starobinsky inflation in gravity and supergravity

In my talk I introduce theoretical foundations of Starobinsky inflation in early universe, and discuss its current status. Possible upgrades of the Starobinsky inflation to supergravity are also proposed. The presentation is designed for non-experts.
