- Jorgen brings up the fact that there is a large difference in K-factor variations when going from NLO (no top mass dep) to full NLO. What does this mean in general for predictions made at LO for HH? The effects can be seen by comparing arXiv:1504.06577 (fig 4-5) and arXiv:1806.05162 (fig 11). Seems BSM effects smaller than ~2 of the NLO corrections need to be careful. One test available with current tools could be to match to EFT and compare the relevant K-factors using the POWHEG-BOX NLO/LO implementation.
- Luca reminded us of the effect seen in the scalar/VLQ model in the mHH distribution. Further studies will be done to focus on the pure spin effects, e.g. by setting the couplings equal.
- A paper draft skeleton will be set up to the next meeting in the SHIFT git repository for the studies of the studies in the intermediate region between pure resonant and pure non-resonant limits.
