HH Cosmo Indirect

Europe/Stockholm

New meeting time: ** Wednesdays at 10:00 (CERN time) **

(Round table discussions):
 - Rikard, Eilel, Stefano and Luca plan to have a look at how to map the simplified models at some EFT consistent high mass scale onto EFT parameter space. The models are numerical so it seems the mapping will have be derived by fitting final-states.
- Concerning the choice of EFT model. It it clear that the most accurate model option at the moment for di-higgs EFT interpretations is HEFT with Powheg-BOX which allows for two loop calculations. However to get started on the task to probe for detectable BSM effects in the "gray line" between EFT and a full UV theory we start out at LO which will allows us to use Madgraph and the SMEFTatNLO model. Stefano has a connection to one of the model authors.
- A few benchmark UV points will be defined to validate and exemplify the use of the simplified models. One suggestion was to try MSSM for the scalar case.
- If someone would like to contribute to a section in the working group draft but do not have gitlab access, please let me or Sara know so you can be added using your gitlab ID.
