Scope

The OKC-ZTF-DES Supernova Cosmology Workshop is an informal meeting open to members of the Oskar Klein Centre, the Zwicky Transient Facility and The Dark Energy Survey.

The purpose is to combine the data-sets and know-how from two leading SN surveys at low and high redshift.

Themes to be discussed include: training sets and methods for the next generation of light curve fitters, photometric typing, host galaxy dust extinction and environmental effects on the SN brightness, simulations and calibration, peculiar velocities and the connection with the LSS, as well as rare things like SN siblings and strongly lensed supernovae.

During the meeting, some fraction of the time will be devoted to presentations and talks from experts, but more space will be given to discussion/breakout/hands-on sessions.

We anticipate that many of the US participants will arrive in Stockholm in the afternoon of July 4.

Registrants are encouraged to suggest additional topics for discussion.
