Description
In this talk, I will review the exoplanet research activities carried out by my group at the University of Turin. These cover, among other topics, the migration pathways of hot Jupiters, which still challenge our understanding of gas giant planet migration; the eccentricity of young, small planets as a telltale sign of their formation and evolution history; and the critical importance of understanding instrumental systematics in Doppler search observations, which can easily kill your beloved planetary signals.
