DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jaewon Lee (Stockholm University)\n\nAbstractThis th
esis addresses four key contributions. First\, we investigated how tem-por
al correlations and dephasing in a quantumdot photon-pair source affecttwo
-photon interference\, analyzing these effects through multiple approaches
 \,including thesensor method\, temporal post-selection\, and temperature v
 aria-tion under constant temporal correlations. Second\, weimplemented a m
ethodbased on low-quality factor micropillar cavities to enhance collectio
n effi-ciency for photon pairs. This approach is based on relatively simple
fabrica-tion method and achieves high collection efficiency without solel
yrelying onstrong Purcell enhancement\, in contrast to conventional concep
 t. Third\, wepresented non-Gaussianity criteriathat explicitly account for
optical losses\,enabling reliable characterization of photon states\, and
we experimentally verifiedthe presence of non-Gaussianity using a quantum
  dot photon-pair source.Finally\, we introduced a deep-learning-basedsuper
-resolution imaging tech-nique that accurately reconstructs images of quan
tum dots with high resolu-tion withoutprior system knowledge\, even in hig
h-density and noisy environ-ments.Together\, these results offer practical
solutions foradvancing quantum dotphoton sources suitable for emerging qu
 antum technologies.\n\nhttps://indico.fysik.su.se/event/9536/
