EuCAPT Rapid Response Workshop on AI and Agents in Theoretical Physics Research
Recently, large language models and agentic systems have crossed a threshold at which they can carry out non-trivial portions of theoretical physics workflows, from symbolic and numerical calculations to literature synthesis, code generation, formal proof construction, and drafting full manuscripts. This EuCAPT Rapid-Response Workshop brings together theoretical physicists and researchers from frontier AI labs actively building and stress-testing such systems to discuss what these tools can and cannot yet do on real research problems, and how they are beginning to reshape the subject. The event is held on Zoom and open to EuCAPT members and non-members alike.
