Description
Given a time-dependent one-particle density, we show that there exist a unique external potential such that the Schrödinger evolution with this potential has the prescribed one-particle density. The uniqueness of this potential is the famous Runge--Gross theorem, which however requires unphysical assumptions. In our approach we can treat also singular interactions such as Coulomb. The key insight is to use the translation invariance of the system with no external potential.
