Stabilization and Phenomenology

I will review moduli stabilization (the mechanism of giving mass to geometric scalars and generating scales) in two related classes of string models: a) Kachru-Kallosh-Linde-Trivedi (KKLT) models and b) the Large Volume Scenario (LVS). I will also discuss some of the prospects for phenomenology in these classes of models.
