Description
Few binary systems were detected at very high energy regime with ground based Cherenkov detectors HESS and MAGIC. The only fact of the detection of TeV photons from such systems puts serious challenges for theoretical modeling given small size and rather extreme conditions expected in the source. We present a general discussion of the VHE gamma-rays production in compact binary systems.
