Low dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate in a disordered optical potential

I shall describe certain aspects of the behavior of low dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate in an disordered optical potential. Our description partly try to address the issue of interplay between interaction generated non-linearity and disorder in such systems with reference to recent observation of Anderson localization cold atomic gases and their theoretical analysis.
