I will discuss Verlinde's paper "On the Origin of Gravity and the Laws of Newton", arXiv:1001.0785. After this, Ralf Eichhorn (NORDITA) will discuss more about what "entropic force" is, in relation to this paper. This is not part of the current theme of the JC.
