Description
Analysis of biomolecules put high demands on e.g .versatility and sensitivity. In this presentation examples will be given on new analytical concepts adressing these requirements. The concepts are based on separation and preconcentration systems including micro fluidics in addition to mass spectrometry. Prestructuring of MALDI-MS plates for concentration effects, the use of microcanals in a closed-open-closed separation systems as well as for preconcentration and an adjustable ESI-MS tip will be among the topics dicussed.
