Holographic dualities provide a novel way to study strongly coupled quantum field theories using gravitational theories. I will describe a certain holographic theory providing a model of a strongly coupled superfluid. A brief introduction to holography is provided in the context of this model. Then I will discuss how the model shows signs of superfluidity and move on to describe a study of solitons appearing in the model.
