Description
The talk will discuss non-perturbative dualities present in the strongly coupled quantum charge transport at low temperatures and high magnetic fields in two spatial dimensions. I will focus on how the dualities inform us about the scale dependence or renormalization of the conductivities of the system, and the ensuing quantum Hall phases and their transitions. The talk will review (some) scaling experiments on the quantum Hall transitions, especially temperature driven RG flows, and discuss their relation to the available theoretical frameworks suggested to be relevant for the poorly understood theory of quantum Hall transitions.
