Description
I will talk about our work on using in vivo optogenetics to functionally define the role of PV+ interneurons in shaping circuit activity and the role of NMDA neurotransmission for cognitive behaviors including working memory. I will also present our work on defining the anatomical connectivity of genetically defined neuronal populations based on a transsynaptic labeling strategy using genetically modified rabies viruses.
