Description

The Universe we live in is expanding with increasing velocity and ordinary atoms only account for a small fraction of the total energy budget.

I will give an overview of the Dark Universe and models beyond LCDM, both from a theoretical point of view and in connection to experiments.

On one side I will consider the possibility that non-minimal interactions to gravity may occur; on the other side, I will describe effects on the Cosmic Microwave Background and structure formation, in view of current experiments like Planck and future surveys like Euclid.
