Description
Microlensing detection of Milky Way extrasolar planets via light curves, is a fashionable topic. The same underlying physics can be applied in the extragalactic domain, although the analysis must be completely different. In this talk we present a quick introduction to Gravitational Lensing, focusing on the combination of Strong Lensing plus Microlensing regimes in multiple imaged quasars. Eventually, a quick review will be made on some recent papers in which, by means of analysing the information derived from parametrized sets of magnification maps, we offer an interpretation of some lensed quasar spectra, extracting information both of the lens galaxies and the QSO sources. Part of this talk will present some results the from following papers 2012arXiv1207.2042G, 2011ApJ...730...16M, 2009ApJ...706.1451M
