Description
Dark matter can transform the formation of the first stars. In this case, the first stars
can under go a phase driven by dark matter annihilation which has been dubbed Dark Stars.
These stars can become very large and luminous and powered WIMPs. JWST may
also be able to detect there large stars. We review the basic picture and future prospects of dark stars.
