Arne Johnson and Christian Bohm will introduce by presenting some conclusions from their first round of interviews with representatives from the different experimental research groups. Issues like instrumentation needs, needs of mechanical and electronics workshops and the value of sharing contacts with commercial industries and consultants were discussed. Common facilities of interest for several groups were also identified. A first discussion on this topic before the summer vacation may stimulate some background thoughts as you relax.
