Description
Transport of interacting particles is a rich phenomenon. In this talk I will consider the transport of interacting particles through a linear chain of cavities. Two aspects are discussed. The first aspect deals with the reaction between self-diffusion and transport diffusion. Analytical expressions for the diffusion coefficients are obtained in the absence of correlations, showing that the self-diffusion can exceed the transport diffusion for a concave free-energy function describing the interaction. Secondly, we discuss the fluctuations of the particle current through the linear chain.
