Description
I will give a short overview of a new proposal for a Cluster Variational Method ready to be applied to quantum disordered systems. The method generalizes a previous approach for classical disordered systems in finite dimension and technically can be reduced to solve a set of message-passing equations or alternatively a set of fixed point equations. We will discuss current drawbacks and unsolved questions of the approach.
