A mathematician’s view of the BCS theory of superconductivity

I present, without giving any proof, recent results about the BCS-theory of superconductivity/superfluidity, which might even be novel for the physics community. E.g., I will report that the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equation cannot be derived from the time-dependent BCS equation.
