Description
Polarization resolved measurements are an important tool to disentangle time-resolved dynamics in molecular systems. In this presentation, I will cover the fundamentals of anisotropy measurements, present a solution for and old puzzle about anomalously high anisotropies in porphyrinic systems in liquid phase anisotropy measurements and show how this technique can be adopted to gas phase magnetic bottle spectroscopy.
