After a brief introduction on the properties of the
"good Dark Matter candidate", I will review the motivations
to go beyond an 'accelerator-only' approach and highlight
the benefits of multi-disciplinarity in the quest for DM.
I will focus then on direct and indirect searches, and
show that despite the many conflicting claims recently
appeared in the literature, there a number of detection
strategies that can provide unambiguous evidence for DM.
