A Cavity Master Equation applied to diluted ferromagnetic p-spin

Description
In Nature there are many systems of interacting units with non-trivial dynamics. The Master Equation is one of the most common tools to describe Markovian dynamics in continuous time. To solve such equations is often a difficult task. I present a new cavity method, recently introduced as Cavity Master Equation (CME), which is a closure of the standard Master Equation. I show that CME correctly models the ferromagnetic p-spin Glauber dynamics for a variety of temperature regimes and also allows a novel exploration of the spin-glass phase of this model.
