Description
Astrobiology is a young subject of formidable – perhaps unequalled – scientific breadth.

It seeks to address the most fundamental questions facing modern science: What is the origin of life on Earth? Does life occur anywhere else in the Universe? What is the ultimate fate of life on Earth?

It is not possible to address all these questions in a seminar. I will give a short overview of the graduate school in Astrobiology and discuss some recent advances in astrochemistry.
