- Luca and Eliel had a meeting with Ken regarding handling of the LO and NLO EFT interference. Ken could confirm that the default method to handle this is by re-weighting of the LO diagrams. There are two options available: one on the Madgraph wiki and one from Eleni. Eleni's method seems to be preferred and require less hacking. Luca has an idea about an alternate method without re-weighting, but re-weighting will remain the default and act as a cross-check for alternate methods.
- Laura has been able to confirm that Tom's LO SMEFT re-weighting seems to work quite well when applied to a NLO SM parton-showered sample. This is a very useful result experimentally.
- Johan and Jonas still investigating the Konstantin method for the bounce action, technically challenging.
- Now taking a break during the summer and we restart again preliminary 18/8. Wish you all a nice summer!
