Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss a recent work [1] where we investigate a non-reciprocal version of the non-Hermitian Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model with an extended Hubbard term. Using exact diagonalization, we compute both the charge structure factor and a topological marker to establish its phase diagram for open and periodic boundary conditions. We show that the topological phase can be extended by interactions, what does not happen for the Hermitian version of this model, and we show that the high order exceptional point helps stabilize the charge order phase.
