Description
We study a lattice model for strongly-interacting fermions with fine-tuned interactions such that they can be described by a supersymmetric Hamiltonian. In 1D this model is solved analytically and turns out to be quantum critical. The thermodynamic limit is described by an N=2 superconformal field theory. In 2D, the supersymmetry allows us to count the number of ground states analytically. For a wide variety of 2D lattices the answer is rather surprising: the number of ground states typically grows exponentially with the area of the lattice. The system is superfrustrated.
