Description
Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has been successfully launched into orbit in June last year, and is providing excellent data for many celestial gamma-ray sources. This presentation will highlight the first results from Fermi's Large Area Telescope, and will cover the early measurements of gamma-ray properties of rotating neutron stars (pulsars), jet-dominated active galaxies, and gamma-ray bursts.
