Description
Homochirality is an important problem for the comprehension of the
emergence of life. Several models describe it as a symmetry breaking
phenomenon from an initially racemic system, towards an asymmetric
steady state. It will be shown how such a system can be built by an
assembly of several simple chemical reactions, allowing the
establishment of positive or negative feedbacks inside the reaction
network, leading to dynamic unstabilities. The theoretical aspects
will be developed, in relationship with experimental data.
