Description
It's still the early days of exoplanet studies but the discoveries
have surprised us and challenged our preconceptions many times over.
The diversity of worlds uncovered already -- from close-in super-Earths
to far out super-Jupiters -- is truly remarkable yet surely incomplete.
I will discuss recent results and future prospects, focusing on
characterizing transiting planets and direct imaging of planets in wide
orbits.
