Over the past few years the Sun and solar wind have exhibited solar cycle behavior that was considerably different from the picture that had been developed from space observations taken before 2006. For example, interplanetary field and the solar polar field at solar minimum was much weaker than had been previously seen. It was suggested that the Sun was entering a Maunder-type Minimum. I will argue that the anomalous behavior is a minimum of the Centennial Gleissberg Cycle (CGC) and discuss the role of the CGC in climate change.
