We obtain an expression for the determinant of the Laplacian acting on arbitrary-spin fields in Anti-de Sitter Space using the fact that it is a symmetric space. We apply these results to obtain interesting expressions for the partition functions of higher-spin theories in AdS(5). These include a form closely related to a higher-dimensional MacMahon function, and suggestive `vacuum character' like forms. Finally, we will show how this analysis may be used to interpret the partition function of an arbitrary four-dimensional CFT in terms of quadratic fluctuations in AdS(5).
