Description
We hereby present a class of weakly non-local gravitational
theories consistent at quantum level regardless
of the spacetime dimension. These theories are unitary
(ghost-free) and perturbatively super-renormalizable
in any dimension. Moreover, we recently discover a simple
extension of them that is finite at quantum level
in even and odd dimension. Finally, we propose a
super-renormalizable or finite theory for (super-)gravity
coupled to gauge fields and matter laying the groundwork for
a "finite standard model of particle physics" and/or a grand
unified theory of all fundamental interactions (including a
weakly nonlocal completion of 11-dimensional
Supergravity/M-Theory.)
