The M-theory expansion of the ABJ(M) partition function

Description
The ABJM theory is a three dimensional superconformal field theory with a M-theory dual. In this talk we will discuss the computation of the so called M-theory expansion of the partition function of the gauge theory. This is a large N expansion which is different from the usual 't Hooft expansion and which probes the M-theory regime of the gravity dual. Recent results for the generalization of these calculations to ABJ theory will also be discussed.
