Description
Higher curvature supergravity is well-motivated for describing cosmic inflation. The standard approach is restricted to R-symmetric models, which is not the most general case. We show that models of higher curvature supergravity which violate the R-symmetry can both drive inflation and provide hidden sectors for supersymmetry breaking.
