Description
According to the scenario of inflationary cosmology, the
largest scales probe also the earliest moments of the observable
Universe. The observation of the cosmic microwave background and of the
radio sky at those scales reveal several puzzling features, which are at
odds with our current understanding of cosmology, implying a violation of
isotropy and scale invariance. I'm going to highlight some of those puzzles
and describe attempts towards their resolution.
