Description
While low-energy gravity in vacuum is extremely constrained to be the Einstein theory, the same is not true when gravity-matter interactions are considered. Allowing violations of the equivalence principle lead to a number of interesting new avenues to explain inflation and dark matter. In this review I will especially focus on the minimal scenario where one identifies the Higgs boson as the inflaton and primordial black holes as dark matter.
