Description
Superconductivty in monolayer $FeSe$ grown on $SrTiO_3$
represents a new example of a correlated material with high-
Tc superconductivity. The origin of superconductivity and the
electronic structure of normal state remain under debate. I
will present recent results on developing a realistic model for
the normal state and its interplay with magnetic fluctuations.
Two key inputs are: the unavoidable multiple-orbital nature of
the relevant bands; and, as indicated by density functional
theory, the role of fluctuations stemming from a translation
invariant magnetic order.
